2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Spy Shots, Price

Every effort is being made by engineers at Hyundai to develop the new 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe and make it a great crossover vehicle. Though not much is known about the car we have seen some spy shots that have revealed a few interesting things about the new Santa Fe. However, Hyundai has done its best to conceal the car by using as much camouflage as possible. Even so, we did see that the headlights were new and not the same as in earlier models. The grille too has been revised, as too is the apron. However, one does not expect Hyundai to make major changes to its new 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe.

2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Interior and Exterior

We have been successful in seeing what the rear of the vehicle looks like. The taillights have not been changed and so will continue to have the same shape. The internal graphics are however not the same as in earlier models. The exhaust tips are very impressive and are designed to attract European and more particularly German buyers.

Inside the cabin, minor changes have been made. These changes are in fact far lesser than the changes that have been made to the exteriors. One of the changes that have been made is to the infotainment system, which is new and revised. Furthermore, a brand new control layout that improves the ergonomics considerably is another welcome addition to the interiors. Secondly, the way that the buttons are laid out on the center area is also not the same as in earlier models.

We expect the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe to come with a hybrid AWD system that includes a gasoline engine for the front axle and the electric motor that feeds the back wheels.

Hyundai is ranked number five in terms of largest automakers in sales volumes. It is thus not surprising to learn that the company is embarking on ambitious plans and that its engineering activities have become much stronger than before. This will be seen in the new Santa Fe.

2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Engine Specs

The company will use not just the 3-4WD but it will also take on the likes of the BMW M and Mercedes AMG. This means that the company could opt for a 3.3-liter engine that is capable of producing approximately 400 horsepower. A 3.3-liter V6 engine that produces 290 horsepower and 252 pound feet of torque is already powering the existing Santa Fe version. We don’t expect Hyundai KAI to change this drivetrain but the new Santa Fe will also boast of a turbocharged 4cylinder engine, which is expected to deliver better fuel economy. The existing V6 engine is coupled to a 6-speed automatic gearbox but the new Santa Fe will most probably be coupled to an EcoShift dual clutch gearbox.

2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Release Date and Price

The earlier models have sold well. The new and refreshed 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe will most probably also sell equally well. The price tag of 30,000 dollars may rise by another five hundred dollars. We expect the company to launch its new Santa Fe sometime in the year 2016.

Though not many things will be changed the exterior will be tweaked to look more attractive and of course a new engine may also be offered. The main changes to the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe will be within the cabin where a new infotainment and dash will be installed.
